"What stayed with us most was the contrast between the film's locations. Moving from the grey underpasses of Budapest to the striking red landscapes of the quarry felt like crossing between two emotional worlds, allowing the characters' inner lives to be reflected in the places around them. We had only one day to capture the entire quarry sequence, with horses, motorcycles, and a 16mm film camera, which made the shoot both challenging and incredibly exciting. The limitations forced us to work instinctively and embrace the unpredictability of the landscape, creating some of the most memorable images of the film." Adam Halmos, director
