"Working with miniatures is so delightful. Whenever I can, I love getting to do effects practically - it creates a very human and tactile feeling and miniatures have a preciousness that is so fun to play with. Our production designer, Erika Laguan, recreated our filming location with really charming details. Our DP Tanner had probe and periscope lenses that allowed us to feature the great details Erika placed in the mini-scenes. Our lead actor, Jongman, sold the existential crisis incredibly well and it was so fun to get to work with him and Taehee (Jongman’s actual wife!)." - Jackie! Zhou, director
