"Creatively, we were trying for something bold and raw to go with the release of the new Singapore jersey. We mixed shots with stylized camera movements and slow motion with scenes that we shot in a documentary way. We utilized mirrors, diopters and moving lights at times to force a little abstraction and dream-like quality to scenes. We didn’t always have a clear plan for each scene and left space to try things out on set. Working with athletes can be challenging for performance but we were thankful all of them were really good and up for anything. In the end, the agency and client loved it and we were thankful to have the opportunity to produce this film with so much freedom." Ben Siow, cinematographer
