Quelque Chose de Plus Grand Que Nous

"The logistics of the project were very complex. We had a 2 months preproduction, our AD, the great John Steyn, made 40 shooting plans. We end up shooting 5 days in multiple terminals of París-Charles de Gaulle and París-Orly airports. Moving the equipment around the terminals was very difficult, cause it had to go every day to multiple security control filters. We had to be very patient cause sometimes the equipment couldn't get at the time we wanted but we had a great team that managed to solve all the problems we faced every day. Lighting in the airport was difficult, cause they just let us use Led Devices for safety reasons and we had huge wide shots. The Aputures XT 52 became our best friends. In some sets, when we were close to the planes, they didn't allow us to use any lighting equipment. But at the end I feel we found ways to give an intention and a look in every set." cinematographer @lluis_marti
