"Our goal was to capture the spirit of bouldering in an approach that would combine documentary and fashion filmmaking aesthetics. Everyone featured in the project are climbers and it was a fun challenge to create a piece that focused more on the shared experience of journeying into the outdoors as opposed to climbing itself. We were able to find a way to bring a huge balloon light into the coastal rainforest, an effect that create a totally new perspective on the setting and some images that felt really memorable for the piece."
