"The trickiest part of the project was finding the right location, since pretty much everything hinged on that. Luckily the brand (Ardbeg) has a distillery in an extremely remote location on an island off the coast of Scotland, and they advised us of some beautiful spots to check out nearby. It ended up being literally on the edge of a cliff, so the last hurdle was figuring out the logistics required to actually get all the EQ & crew up there. I'd say lastly the mental headache of worrying about the weather, we were completely exposed to nature and anyone that's been to that part of the world, knows that it can change from beautiful sunshine to stormy torrential rain in a matter of minutes, so we had to take our chances whenever we got them. Oh, also the midges (tiny biting flies) were bloody annoying!"
