Using a Robot Arm to Send a Probe Lens Through Glass

"We shot with a slow shutter to get the texture in motion and utilized 600 fps slo-mo with the Ember Freefly to catch a delicate explosion of glass. The whole purpose of the film was to give a voice to the children that live in war zones and refugee camps. We wanted to bring the viewer as close as possible to the material, to feel the fragility, the rage and the chaos, but also the light breaking through." - Benjamin Nicolas, director
