"I've never had an on set injury before, but this project nearly killed me. I was filming from a manned cable cam (zip line through the trees) and the braking system failed. Instead of a gradual slowdown, I hit a tree backwards going thirty to forty kilometres per hour. The metal sled took most of the impact but I slammed into the frame and fractured my sternum. Unfortunately, this was day two of the shoot so I had to show up and keep filming for the next four days to get the project done.
