"The most challenging part was filming the ending of the music video. We had originally planned to shoot it at sunset, something quiet, controlled, almost resolved. But when we arrived, it started pouring rain.
We had to make a decision quickly, either hold onto the plan or let it go. We chose to lean into what was in front of us. We filmed GOVI riding through the downpour, leading him from the back of a moving van with the trunk open. It was uncomfortable, chaotic, and uncertain for all of us.
But there was something about surrendering to that moment that felt right. The rain brought a kind of rawness we couldn’t have designed. When I watch it now, I can’t separate the film from that choice. It feels like the ending revealed itself to us." Jorden Lee, director
