"We shot an LED volume with custom Unreal Engine worlds, layered with practical rain, wind, and haze. In post, we blended CGI and VFX with the live action, creating a hybrid piece with a unique aesthetic which between studio, real, and CG. The first shot is a perfect example of our hybrid approach. It begins with practical rain on the car windows in front of the static LED wall. As the camera pulls back, we animate the LED background to simulate driving and integrate the talent’s performance. Exiting through the passenger window, we stitch to a second take with the window closed, then layer in additional VFX rain and reflections." - Brian Petchers, director
