Lighting a Golf Ball on Fire
"Some elements are totally practical, like the flaming buggy and the miniature wemade for the forced perspective gag. I had a lot of creative freedom on this one, especially as I did all the VFX myself. A real highlight was shooting the night sequence. I wanted to take something relatable like losing a golf ball and push it to a stylized place. We used head torches and a drone light to create some pretty incredible lighting shifts through the trees. It was fun going back to the grassroots of filmmaking, running about on a golf course, causing chaos and I think that totally comes across in the final film." - Dan French, director
