Shooting with athletes can always be tricky. We had to shoot in Buffalo for the first part of the shoot due to Josh Allen's busy schedule. Buffalo is a great town to shoot in but there were two features shooting at the same times so gear, resources, and crew were hard to acquire. Resources also don't go nearly as far in the US as they do in Toronto where the second portion of our shoot was. The turf we were able to lay down in Buffalo was limited by budget and studio size, forcing Zoe and I to be creative with how we lit and shot the set to feel like a real football field.
