Using Blend Modes

“By placing the shoe above a waterproof glass surface or by crafting reflected visuals that amplify the water-like feeling, we aimed to create a poetic metaphor of a silent rippling force that reshapes everything it touches. As one of the rare projects Nike produced in Athens, I wanted to bring to life a contemporary vision of “Νίκη“ the ancient spirit of victory that inspired the brand’s name. We shot entirely with natural light, and used true-to-life skin tones to capture something raw, instinctive and alive - like a wave moving straight from the heart of the film.” - Theodore Selekos, director
