"We simply repeated the same slider move, changing elements of the set and styling each time, while also using a FLIR camera. To enhance the thermal effect, we used hot water, since spicy food doesn’t actually make the mouth physically hotter. We also came up with the idea of reversing the move while tossing confetti. When flipped back in post, the confetti float upward like bubbles in soda." - Julien & Quentin, directors
