"Just as we were setting up the first shot, a wall of fog rolled in, wiping out the entire landscape within minutes. Rain and wind followed, leaving us stuck in vans for hours and losing a big part of the day.
We shot as much as we could at the volcano, but it became clear that the extreme conditions wouldn’t allow us to set up any lights as planned. So we turned to the parking lot of our Airbnb, and shot all the night scenes there.
